I too have been obssessed with WW1 for years, especially the CEF. Grandad was a Strathcona from 1915-19, was at Moreuil Wood. Dad was 2PPCLI from 1950-75, Kapyong veteran. I'm going over on May 1 & will be at Bellewaerde on May 8, heard it's hard to find, do you have the GPS coordinates? Saw Hamilton Gault in 1957 at the trooping of the colors, Lady Patricia at the 50th in Edmonton & 1970 in Hemer Germany. Grew up knowing who the battalion colonel was, could hum the Ric a Dam Doo, knew all about Frezenberg but didn't know who the prime minister was...

I've just completed a military novel set in present time and am having a tough go finding agents who represent this genre, if there is one. Got any ideas? I'm sure Tom Clancy and Ken Follett don't have this problem, but have I written a book for which there is no agent representation? Yikes! Your advice would be gratefully accepted.

I need some help with a story. My professor says there is too much military jargon and no one understood it in class during workshop. How do you include the jargon, and write so the average person will understand it?
